Owner and CEO

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rich started his first company, Donnelly Distribution, more than 40 years ago in his brother’s garage.  In 2016, Rich added another arm to his business when he launched Newspaper Media Group and is committed to providing excellent journalism and community involvement through its products. Rich is happiest when he sees his employees succeed.  In his spare time, Rich enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys talking with people and learning about them.

Sean Donnelly

As an advisor to NMG and the current COO of Donnelly Distribution, Sean is excited by the endless growth opportunities that lie before NMG and enjoys working with the leadership team as they explore new and exciting ways of delivering unparalleled local content to the community. When not at work, Sean likes to travel and is often found attending sporting events, cheering on his favorite Philadelphia teams. He recently got married and resides in South Jersey with his wife Christina.

Dan resides in Philadelphia and is a devout fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Ali and his yellow lab Mac.

As the Chief Operating Officer, a large part of Perry’s job is making sure there is synergy among the NMG employees, who are working to achieve our mission of providing unique content in the communities we serve.  With over 25 years of experience in various departments at The Philadelphia Inquirer, Perry is well suited to lead the Newspaper Media Group team. In his free time, he enjoys watching his kids play sports and playing golf.

When he started as the IT/Production director several years ago at a small company, he never could have imagined what his role would develop into today. As the General Manager at NMG, Brandon is involved in all aspects of operations at all Newspaper Media Group properties. In his spare time, he has an interest in lighthouses and has successfully completed both the New Jersey and Maryland lighthouse challenges.

As the Editor-In-Chief for NMG, Tim is responsible for the overall direction and content of our publications. As a growing media organization, Tim is proud to be able to shine a light on the local communities that are often ignored and is impressed daily by the dedication of his team.  In his spare time, Tim enjoys sports of all kinds, as well as cooking, traveling ( he’s been to over 35 states! ) and spending time with his family.

As a South Philly native with over 30 years in the newspaper business, John enjoys being a part of a forward-thinking and growing organization. He works with all aspects of getting the South Philly Review published weekly. He can often be found on the streets of South Philly talking to the local business owners and residents. John is an avid sports fan and has completed the Broad Street Run 3 times with his daughter.

Joe started his career in radio, quickly earning awards for his work. He soon made the transition to community newspapers and has not looked back. Joe oversees 15 publications and a growing website. He believes the quality of the content the team produces allows NMG to be unmatched in the market. When not at work, Joe can be found barbecuing with his family, including his wife, 4 children and golden retriever, Trevor.

Arlene started her media career as the anchor person at her high school’s TV station. Today Arlene is the Publisher of The Sun Newspapers and works closely with her team to create strategies that make sense for local clients. She is actively involved with the local business associations and in community events, an essential part of staying connected to the communities NMG serves.  Arlene enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family.

With a long running career in both social work and human resources, Judy enjoys working as the Director of Human Resources at NMG because with such a large group of diverse people spread out across two states, there is always something new and interesting happening. Judy enjoys gardening sewing and traveling with her daughter. She is proud to be a board member of the Adoption and Foster Care Organization.

Angela believes she has the best job in the company!  As Director of Marketing & Events, Angela gets to plan events and activities that engage readers in each of our markets.  From all-you-can eat pizza events to bridal shows to kids expos, there is always something for our readers to enjoy.  When not planning events for NMG, you can usually find Angela listening to country music while doing something fun with her husband and 2 daughters.

Born and raised in South Jersey, Melissa has been in media for 18 years since she began selling advertising at her college paper. As the Director of New Business Development and Training, she enjoys working closely with new team members, as well as the current sales team on new initiatives including the launch of several of our digital sites and products. Melissa can be found at the lake or the beach in her spare time with her husband and two kids.

With over 40 years of newspaper experience, Kevin now oversees many of our sales teams and publications.  Having previously worked for The Philadelphia Inquirer, Metro Newspaper and the Newark Star-Ledger, Kevin’s knowledge has helped grow his team immensely.  Kevin enjoys working for a  smaller company with a focus on the community.  When not working, Kevin enjoys playing basketball (he’s played for over 50 years!) and is an avid sports fan. He enjoys spending time with his wife Nancy and their children.

Deidre works closely with major accounts and manages the Philadelphia Weekly sales team, creating advertising campaigns that drive results. With over 30 years of media experience in radio, print and digital, Dee enjoys our exciting and engaging work environment and appreciates working with a team who encourages her to think outside the box.  In her spare time, Dee enjoys reading, has a flair for interior design, has a love of line dancing and enjoys entertaining family and friends at her home.

Newspaper Media Group, publisher of over 50 local community publications both in print and online, is seeking creative, analytical and outgoing individuals to join our team of Account Managers.

You have a strong work ethic and desire to see the job through to completion. With at least two years of experience in a client-facing job – through customer service, marketing, advertising, communications, retail or other capacity, you will help round out our team.

Reporter/Writer – Associate Editor

Newspaper Media Group is searching for reporters to join our amazing editorial staff to cover our weekly newspapers including daily website updates.

Responsibilities include covering and writing news stories and editorials, taking photos, managing story budgets, working with the public to gather community news and managing the overall workflow. Night work is involved and you must have your own transportation.

The Reporter/Writer will coordinate both short and long range story planning with our other editors for our print and online versions, as well as our social media outlets. Strong social media and photography skills are a plus.

Paginator (Manalapan, NJ)

Our Content Editors are full-time staff members who are proficient in newspaper layout and paginating in Adobe InDesign. The page designer position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday working on weekly community newspapers in NMG’s Manalapan or Cherry Hill office. Pay rate is $14.00/hour. The successful job applicant would handle layout of sports, news and special sections across multiple newspaper titles in concert with editors. The position requires pages to be prepared for production to be sent to press. Experience in WordPress and Adobe PhotoShop a plus. Prior newspaper experience preferred. You will quickly be eligible to join our 401k plan and health insurance programs. Start earning paid time off from day one. EOE
