October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Dance for the Cure is bringing awareness in many creative and fanciful ways throughout Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex and Somerset Counties.

Dance for the Cure is a non-profit organization that provides monetary assistance to area men and women while going through a breast cancer diagnosis.

The upcoming fall fundraiser, “Ribbons of Hope” is sold out, but you can always support Dance for the Cure with a monetary contribution or gift cards now or anytime during the year.

It is still possible to make a monetary donation to the “Salad Bowl Greens” raffle basket for the upcoming fundraiser “Ribbons of Hope” to be held on Oct. 24. This unique basket is filled with real dollar bills for the lucky winner. The deadline to donate is Oct 14 and can be made via Venmo @Kathleen-Cirioli. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.

Also look for the pink ribbons that are tied around many municipal buildings in the counties served by Dance for the Cure, and the beautiful large pink bows that are displayed on many businesses throughout the towns of Hillsborough, Flemington and Raritan Borough and support the businesses that support Dance for the Cure.

Please visit the website, www.danceforthecure.org to learn more about the organization, and how to volunteer or receive assistance or to make a donation.

Dance for the Cure has already awarded over 1.2 million to women in need.
