Sarah Tracy is a familiar face who has now returned to the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education.
Tracy, who has previously served on the school board from 2018 to 2020, is back as a member of the school board after being appointed in a special meeting on July 31 to fill a vacancy left by former member Lydia Liu.
Liu, who resigned because she moved out of the community, represented Hopewell Township on the board and had won her seat in November 2022. Tracy and Hope Cotter both interviewed during the special meeting for the vacancy to finish out the rest of Liu’s term year, which ends on Dec. 31.
“I just want to take a moment to welcome our new board member Sarah Tracy,” Board President Anita Williams Galiano said, noting Tracy had previously been on the school board.
“Welcome back. Thank you for putting your hat in the ring.”
Tracy represents Hopewell Township on the school board. She is a managing director, global controller and CFO – Americas for PineBridge Investments, a global asset management firm based in New York.
Before her time at PineBridge Investments, Tracy served as president and founder of JBS Business Services, a consulting firm. She graduated from Rider University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
