A Princeton resident was scammed out of $334,000 by a caller who told the victim that they had won a prize in an incident that was reported July 19, according to the Princeton Police Department.
The caller told the victim that in order to claim the prize, the victim would have to provide payment for several processing documents, police said.
The victim provided the suspect with $334,000 in online transfers. The incident is under investigation by the Princeton Police Department Detective Bureau.
