Four shoplifters stole an assortment of merchandise valued at $11,874 from a store on Nassau Street Aug. 12. The man and the three women fled before police arrived.

A 34-year-old Princeton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street at 4:10 a.m. Aug. 8. She was processed and released.

Two men attempted to break into a house on Terhune Road Aug. 7. A witness reported the attempted burglary, but the two suspects fled before police arrived. No entry was made into the house.

A 27-year-old Princeton man was arrested on active warrants from the Camden City and Mansfield Township municipal courts after police responded to a Leigh Avenue home for an unwanted person Aug. 4. He was processed and turned over to Camden County police.

A 54-year-old Trenton man was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to be in possession of stolen property from a store on North Harrison Street July 31. Further investigation revealed he was wanted on active warrants from several Mercer County municipal courts. He was also found to be a wanted person by the Princeton Police Department, the Montgomery County, Pa., Sheriff’s Office and the Pennsylvania Adult Probation Office. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

Someone broke into a Fleming Way home and stole property valued at $1,000 July 30.

Burglars stole $171,125 worth of property from a Springdale Road home on July 27.

A 44-year-old Albany, N.Y. woman and a 27-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y. woman were charged with shoplifting and possession of burglar tools after police responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress at a store on Nassau Street July 27. They were processed and released.
