A 37-year-old Trenton man was charged with driving under the influence, careless and reckless driving, refusal to submit to a breath test and failure to maintain lane after he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole on Dorchester Drive at 4:46 p.m. Sept. 11 He was processed and released.

A 49-year-old East Windsor Township resident was charged with consumption of alcohol in public after a police officer observed the suspect drinking an alcoholic beverage in the vicinity of the Twin Rivers Mall Sept. 10. The suspect was also found to have an active warrant from Manalapan Township. The suspect was processed and released to the Manalapan Township Police Department.

A 53-year-old East Windsor Township woman was charged with shoplifting for allegedly putting $486.36 worth of clothing and jewelry inside a shopping bag and attempted to leave Walmart without paying for them Sept. 7. She was processed and released.

A 59-year-old Plainsboro Township woman was charged with shoplifting for allegedly loading a shopping cart with $260.21 worth of groceries and leaving without paying for them at ShopRite on Sept. 5. She was processed and released.

A 34-year-old East Windsor Township woman was arrested on an active warrant from the City of Trenton after police responded to the Motel 6 on Franklin Street to investigate a citizen dispute Sept. 5. She was processed and released.

A 53-year-old Carteret resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking merchandise valued at $185.75 from ShopRite on Sept. 2. He was charged on a complaint summons.

A 38-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Ocean Township after police were sent to the Windsor Hotel on Route 33 for a suspicious incident report on Sept. 1. He was processed and released.
