A 37-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with eluding and other offenses after a police officer attempted to stop his vehicle for weaving on Route 133 on Aug. 17. The driver did not stop and fled onto the New Jersey Turnpike, but he was later identified and charged on Aug. 20. He was also issued summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane, having fictitious license plates and being an unlicensed driver.

A 19-year-old Trenton man was charged with having an unregistered motor vehicle and being an unlicensed driver following a traffic stop Aug. 19. He was stopped after a look-up of the vehicle’s registration showed that it had expired. He was also found to have an active warrant from Bordentown Township. He was processed and released.

A 32-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with consumption of alcohol in public after a police officer saw him drinking beer in public at the Dorchester Arms apartment complex Aug. 18. He was also found to have an active warrant from West Windsor Township. He was processed and released.

A 32-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with failure to wear a seat belt following a traffic stop on North Main Street Aug. 17. He was also found to have an active warrant from East Windsor Township. He was processed and released.

A 44-year-old Yardley, Pa., resident was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and other violations after police were dispatched to investigate a driver who was weaving on Route 130 at 2:26 p.m. Aug. 17. The driver was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusal to submit to a breath test. The driver was processed and released.

A 68-year-old Monmouth Junction man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly pushing a shopping cart filled with groceries out of ShopRite without paying for them Aug. 17. The groceries were valued at $133.22. The man fled, but police were able to identify him and charged him on a complaint summons.

A 35-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle after he was stopped by police on Twin Rivers Drive at 1:58 a.m. Aug. 10. He was processed and released.

A 37-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and other violations after he was stopped by a police officer who saw his car weaving on Route 535 at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 9. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was processed and released.

A 33-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Cranbury Township after police responded to investigate a crash in the TD Bank parking lot on Route 571 Aug. 8. He was processed and released after posting bail.
