A 35-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and obstructing traffic after police responded to a call about a possibly intoxicated driver asleep at the wheel on Monmouth Street at 6:30 a.m. Aug. 25. The man was found to be asleep behind the wheel with the engine running. He was processed and released.

A 38-year-old Manalapan man was arrested on an active warrant from Monmouth County after the car in which he was riding was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation on Route 130 on Aug. 24. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A 32-year-old Monroe Township man was charged with having an unregistered vehicle and a maintenance of lamps violation after he was stopped by police for having a defective brake light on Route 130 on Aug. 22. He was also found to have an active warrant from Franklin Township. He was processed and released.

A 29-year-old Trenton man was charged with driving while his license was suspended following a motor vehicle stop for having a defective taillight on Route 130 on Aug. 21. He was found to have active warrants from Ewing Township, Hamilton Township and the City of Trenton. He was processed and turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department.

A 27-year-old New Brunswick man was arrested on an active warrant from East Brunswick Township following a traffic stop on Route 130 on Aug. 21. He was processed and turned over to the East Brunswick Police Department.
