A 53-year-old Trenton man and a 58-year-old New Brunswick woman were charged with shoplifting and other offenses after they allegedly walked out of Target without paying for two cameras valued at $202.58, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

Police responded to a call on Sept. 29 for a shoplifting in progress. A police officer found the man in the parking lot, but not the woman. She was located later.

The man was found to have active warrants from East Windsor Township and Middlesex County, police said. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of a driver’s license that did not belong to him.

In addition to being charged with shoplifting, he was charged with possession of false government documents for allegedly having a driver’s license that did not belong to him, police said.

He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on the active warrant.

The woman was later identified and also charged with shoplifting and conspiracy. She was charged on a complaint summons.
