A Hopewell Township man was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after he crashed his Polaris vehicle off the roadway on Hopewell-Wertsville Road at 10:38 p.m. Sept. 19. He was processed and released.
A thief stole 200 feet of copper piping, valued at $1,000, from a construction site on Washington Crossing Road between Sept. 13 and Sept. 16.
A vandal used spray paint to write “Dump Trump” on a fence surrounding a construction site on East Broad Street in Hopewell Borough. The incident of criminal mischief, which caused damage estimated at $100, occurred between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16.
A lawn mower was stolen from an enclosed trailer at a Federal City Road home between 12:16 a.m. and 12:35 a.m. Sept. 14. Surveillance video showed two men entering the trailer, removing the lawn mower and leaving on foot.
A Trenton man was arrested on active warrants from the Berlin and Stratford municipal courts Sept. 14. Police responded to the Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell to investigate a disturbance involving a visitor to the hospital, and discovered the suspect was wanted on the warrants. He was processed and released to the Berlin Township Police Department.
A victim reported the theft of a package valued at $638.97 that had been ordered online and was reported to have been delivered Aug. 23. The victim received a message that it had been delivered, but nothing was received. The incident was reported Sept. 11.
Jewelry valued at $65,000 was reported stolen in a burglary at a Forest Blend Drive home that occurred between Sept. 6 and Sept. 9. The victim returned home at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 9 and discovered the front door was wide open.
A Hopewell Township man whose vehicle left the road and overturned on Hopewell-Princeton Road was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to submit to chemical testing and failure to maintain lane at 11:05 p.m. Sept. 9. He was processed and released.
